Autowatch 160 Diagnostic Plug

This is the plugpal Autowatch 160 diagnostic plug for the 160, 171, 172, 188, 236, 239 and 433 alarm systems, as fitted to many cars as an aftermarket alarm / immobiliser.

The Autowatch 160 diagnostic plug does not bypass the alarm itself, just the immobiliser, so the alarm will continue to work as normal allowing you to diagnose if the immobiliser is causing you an issue, such as parasitic battery drain or if the immobiliser is becoming erratic with age.

As with all plugpal products, this diagnostic plug is assembled using quality components, the connections being crimped, not soldered.   This is due to the risk of stress fracturing of connections in environments with large amounts of vibration, such as automotive applications and waterproofed using adhesive impregnated heatshrink.
