Check Your Datatool Connector Before Ordering
The Datatool S4 Red alarm connects to the motorcycle through a wiring loom and connector block. You install the diagnostic plug into the connector inside the protective connection box.
You must remove the lid from this box to access the connector. The supplied Torx T8 Security screwdriver helps you remove the security screws.
Please check your motorcycle before ordering.
Confirm that:

- The alarm loom contains the required diagnostic connector
- The connector has the correct shape

The screwdriver design may vary from the example shown. We may change the screwdriver supplied as different suitable versions become available.
Includes Blanking Grommet
Once you remove the Datatool alarm loom from the connection box, the original cable entry can leave an open hole.
The kit includes a rubber blanking grommet to fill this opening. This helps protect the connection box and gives the installation a neat finish after you disconnect the alarm loom.
Designed for Datatool S4 Red
This diagnostic plug works only with the Datatool S4 Red alarm and immobiliser system.
It is NOT suitable for Datatool Green or Datatool Yellow systems.
If you have a Datatool S4 Green system and believe the alarm has developed a fault, you can disconnect the alarm without it preventing the motorcycle from starting. The plugpal Datatool S4 Red Diagnostic Plug is therefore not required for this purpose.
